Job Description

Liberty Mutual Insurance is a leading global insurer and the third-largest property and casualty insurer in the United States. Founded with a commitment to innovation and customer-centric services, Liberty Mutual offers a broad range of insurance products and services to help people live safer, more secure lives. As a Fortune 100 company, Liberty Mutual operates in multiple states throughout the U.S. and globally, delivering personalized insurance solutions to millions of customers. The company is renowned for its strong organizational culture centered on inclusivity, integrity, and continuous professional growth. Employees at Liberty Mutual enjoy an environment that fosters diversity, supports work-life balance, and encourages ongoing learning and development.

The role of Inside Sales Representative at Liberty Mutual presents an exciting opportunity for motivated, people-focused individuals looking to start or advance their careers in insurance sales. This position is primarily focused on handling inbound sales leads, consulting customers on their insurance needs, and matching them with the right products and coverages. One of the standout features of this role is that it directs warm leads to the agent—no cold calling is required—allowing representatives to focus their efforts on building meaningful customer connections and delivering exceptional service.

Training is a critical component of the position. The company offers comprehensive paid training and licensing programs, including a Property and Casualty Insurance license, ensuring representatives are well-equipped to succeed. Training classes for unlicensed candidates begin in September 2026 and for licensed candidates in October 2026. Liberty Mutual emphasizes supporting representatives with the tools, ongoing learning, and technology needed to thrive in a remote work environment, providing all necessary computer equipment and infrastructure requirements.

This role requires a reliable, adaptable individual who can work remotely while maintaining a professional workspace with a dedicated desk and stable internet service meeting specific speed requirements. The standard schedule requires availability for four weekdays and one weekend day, with evening shifts between 11:30 AM and 10 PM EST.

The compensation package starts with a base salary of $45,000 and offers abundant opportunities for earnings growth through commissions, with average yearly earnings ranging between $55,000 and $75,000. Top performing agents can earn upwards of $85,000 annually. Beyond financial rewards, Liberty Mutual offers extensive benefits that begin on day one, including health and dental insurance, paid time off, flexible work arrangements, and a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

Ideal candidates are passionate sellers who enjoy connecting with customers, confident in their sales abilities, and committed to delivering integrity-driven service. The role is well suited for individuals seeking a stable yet dynamic sales career within a reputable company committed to inclusion, equity, and employee development. Liberty Mutual's commitment to diversity, fairness, and equal opportunity ensures every employee can make a meaningful impact contributing to the company's continued growth and success.
