The company prides itself on creating an inclusive and supportive work environment that fosters professional growth, work-life balance, and opportunities for advancement. Liberty Mutual values integrity, diversity, and collaboration, positioning itself as a top employer in the insurance industry.
Currently, Liberty Mutual is actively seeking motivated, people-focused individuals to join their Inside Sales Representative team. This role offers an exciting gateway into the insurance sales field, backed by extensive paid training and licensing opportunities designed to prepare new hires for success. Ideal candidates will have a passion for sales, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to consult customers on selecting insurance products that best meet their needs. The position is remote, providing flexibility and the ability to work in a professional home environment equipped with the necessary technology standards.
This Inside Sales Agent role is focused on inbound sales, handling warm leads from potential clients, eliminating the need for cold calling. The agent serves as a crucial liaison between the Liberty Mutual brand and prospective policyholders, ensuring customer needs are met with integrity and care. Training includes a comprehensive 16- to 18-week program that covers product knowledge, sales techniques, and mandatory licensing requirements for property and casualty insurance. Trainees benefit from paid training periods and ongoing support from a dynamic sales organization committed to cultivating talent.
The compensation structure combines a competitive base salary starting at $45,000 annually with significant commission opportunities. Average earnings range between $55,000 to $75,000, with top performers earning over $85,000 as their career progresses. Additional perks include comprehensive medical benefits starting on day one, flexible work schedules with the expectation to work four weekdays and one weekend day, and provided computer equipment to support remote work. This role requires a professional home workspace with a high-speed, wired internet connection.
Liberty Mutual emphasizes the development of a positive, flexible, and determined sales team member. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, ethical, and adaptive to varying work schedules and environments. This role represents an attractive career path for those seeking a stable and rewarding profession in insurance sales with substantial earnings potential and growth opportunities.
