We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to lead our workforce accommodations facility, which is recognized as a world-class operation under Dexterra Group's management. This facility initially offers approximately 500 rooms but is designed to expand rapidly to more than 4,000 rooms. This role is critical to the overall success and direction of the construction and operational activities of this growing accommodation service. The Site Manager will provide strategic leadership and hands-on project management across many critical service lines, including facilities maintenance, hospitality services, safety protocols, and client relations. This senior leadership role demands someone with demonstrated experience managing large, complex hospitality environments or accommodation operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building, leading, and inspiring a high-performing, service-driven team that excels in operational excellence. Emphasizing safety, guest experience, and client satisfaction are paramount in this role, as it is a safety-sensitive position that requires drug, alcohol, and fit-to-work testing. The Site Manager will uphold Dexterra Group's standards related to food quality, service consistency, cleanliness, and health and safety programs. The role includes providing overall leadership and accountability for daily site operations as well as long-term performance, ensuring maximum client and guest satisfaction through consistent, high-quality hospitality services. They will lead hiring initiatives, onboarding, and performance management in partnership with Human Resources, deliver financial oversight including revenue forecasts, budget development, and cost control, develop staffing plans that align with operational demand, and maintain profitability through strict budget adherence. Acting as the primary liaison for client relationships, the Site Manager will ensure operational outcomes meet or exceed expectations. Job Requirements
- Post-secondary education in business, hospitality, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in hospitality or accommodations management
- Proven senior leadership experience managing large, complex hospitality or accommodation environments
- Strong financial skills including budgeting and forecasting
- Experience with Microsoft Office and hospitality/facilities management systems
- Ability to manage fast-paced growth and complex operational demands
- Commitment to safety with ability to pass drug, alcohol, and fit-to-work testing
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive hospitality or accommodations management experience, ideally in large-scale hotels, resorts, workforce accommodations, or comparable environments
- Senior operational leadership roles with accountability for multiple service streams
- Postsecondary education in business, hospitality, or a related discipline
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue analysis
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with hospitality or facilities management systems
- High degree of ownership, empathy, customer service, and responsiveness to guest and client needs
- Comfortable operating in fast-growth, high-complexity environments and leading teams through scale-up
Job Duties
- Provide overall leadership and accountability for daily site operations and long-term performance
- Ensure maximum client and guest satisfaction through consistent, high-quality hospitality services
- Uphold and enforce Dexterra standards related to food quality, service consistency, cleanliness, and Health & Safety programs
- Lead and support hiring initiatives, onboarding, and performance management in collaboration with Human Resources
- Deliver financial oversight, including revenue forecasting, budget development, and cost control
- Develop and manage staffing plans and schedules aligned with client forecasts and operational demand
- Ensure profitability and financial discipline through strict adherence to approved budgets
- Provide clear direction and delegation to support smooth daily operations across all departments
- Act as the primary point of accountability for the client relationship and operational outcomes
