The Site Manager role at Dexterra Group is based at a world-class workforce accommodations facility. This position plays a vital part in the company's rapidly growing workforce accommodations construction operations. The facility initially comprises approximately 500 rooms, with plans to expand quickly to over 4,000 rooms, making it a high-growth and dynamic work environment. This leadership position holds full accountability for the site's operations, direction, and overall success.

As a senior leader, the Site Manager is tasked with delivering strategic leadership and hands-on project management across various service lines, primarily focusing on facilities maintenance and hospitality services. The position requires an individual who can build, lead, and inspire a high-performing, service-driven team that consistently delivers operational excellence. The role also necessitates a strong emphasis on safety protocols, guest experience, and client satisfaction to maintain Dexterra Group's esteemed standards.

This position is a safety-sensitive role that mandates compliance with drug, alcohol, and fit-to-work testing as part of employment conditions. The Site Manager is responsible for providing overall leadership and accountability for daily site operations and long-term performance goals. They ensure that clients and guests receive maximum satisfaction through consistent, high-quality hospitality services and adherence to Dexterra's standards related to food quality, service consistency, cleanliness, as well as health and safety programs.

Additionally, the Site Manager collaborates closely with Human Resources to lead hiring initiatives, onboarding, and performance management for the team. Financial oversight is another critical aspect of the role, which includes revenue forecasting, budget development, cost control, and maintaining profitability through disciplined financial management. The Site Manager develops and manages staffing plans and schedules aligned with client forecasts and operational demands.

This role requires providing clear direction and effective delegation to support smooth operations across all departments. Moreover, as the primary point of accountability for the client relationship, the Site Manager ensures that operational outcomes meet or exceed expectations. The site manager’s influence extends across the entire facility, requiring the ability to foster an environment that values teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Postsecondary education in business, hospitality, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in hospitality or accommodations management
  • Demonstrated experience in senior operational leadership roles
  • Strong financial management skills including budgeting and forecasting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant management systems
  • Ability to lead and manage teams in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments
  • Ability to pass drug, alcohol, and fit-to-work testing as condition of employment

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive hospitality or accommodations management experience, ideally in large-scale hotels, resorts, workforce accommodations, or comparable environments
  • Experience in senior operational leadership roles with accountability for multiple service streams
  • Postsecondary education in business, hospitality, or a related discipline
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue analysis
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with hospitality or facilities management systems
  • High degree of ownership, empathy, customer service, and responsiveness to guest and client needs
  • Comfortable operating in fast-growth, high-complexity environments and leading teams through scale-up
