The Remittance Processing Specialist II role at Deluxe Corporation is designed for individuals who are eager to be part of a dynamic team that plays a vital role in the company's financial operations. This position involves handling complex sorting and decision-making tasks related to non-standard or rejected financial transactions. Key responsibilities include managing reject decisioning and processing, operating high-speed mail extraction and scanning equipment, as well as maintaining accuracy and performance in processing medium to high complexity client transactions. The role demands a high level of attention to detail, ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, and capability to adapt quickly to process changes. The Specialist will also assist in training colleagues as needed, contributing to knowledge sharing within the department.
This is an hourly position with a competitive pay range of $16.90 to $17.50 per hour, along with eligibility for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. Job Duties
- Pull rejected transactions from all processing areas using reports and processing audit trails with general knowledge of operations
- Perform basic level transaction sorting and decision-making
- Header batched items with control documents and processing header
- Perform extraction and scanning on high speed and moderate to complex client handling using I-Tran, IMBL, OPEX 30, 40, 50/51, 150 Falcon equipment
- Process medium to high complexity client sorting and transaction decisioning
- Process work accurately and maintain performance output in accordance with department standards
- Assist with training when needed
