Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a similar role preferred
- ability to lift objects up to fifty (50) pounds without assistance
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work flexible, as-needed hours
- commitment to safety and cleanliness
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
Job Qualifications
- Take pride in cleaning and providing a safe environment
- have an eye for detail
- enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- provide excellent customer service
- respond well to change
- can lift objects up to fifty (50) pounds without assistance
- prior experience as a porter in a luxury hotel or residential environment is a plus
Job Duties
- Cleaning common areas
- taking out trash and recycling
- inspecting furniture, décor, and other fixtures for any needed repairs or deep cleaning
- bringing any safety, physical appearance, or maintenance issues to a manager's attention
- making sure there are adequate cleaning and repair supplies
- helping residents with deliveries such as groceries, newspapers, dry cleaning, packages, etc.
- working the service elevator
- assisting with emergency response service such as sidewalk snow removal
