The role of Registered Nurse (RN) Manager, Operating Room (OR) at Palm Beach Health Network is a vital leadership position within the nursing department. This role focuses on overseeing and directing patient care activities in the Operating Room, ensuring that the highest clinical standards are consistently met. The RN Manager uses advanced critical thinking skills to evaluate care processes and outcomes within their assigned specialty. As an integral part of the healthcare team, the RN Manager works closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless operations in the OR. The role involves managing staff schedules, ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory standards, and promoting a culture of safety and quality within the department. This full-time staff position offers a 36-hour workweek, organized into 12-hour shifts, allowing for concentrated leadership during critical periods of patient care.

Additionally, the position offers a competitive employment package including up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus based on experience. The RN Manager is expected to have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, 3-5 years of clinical experience, preferably in operating room settings, and a valid Registered Nurse license. Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) through the American Heart Association, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.

New hires must provide proof of full vaccination or obtain an approved exemption before starting work. Those exempted from vaccination will be required to undergo regular testing in alignment with regulatory guidelines.
