The role of the Registered Nurse within Banner Staffing Services is dynamic and essential. Job Requirements
- Current valid RN license in state of practice or compact RN license
- BLS certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification
- Minimum two shifts per month commitment
- Completion of post-offer occupational health physical assessment, drug screen and background check
- Experience in clinical area applied for
- Maintain clinical competencies evidenced through annual validation
- For Home Health roles, valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Compliance with fingerprint clearance card requirements for behavioral health roles in Arizona
- Ability to relate experience, training and education needed to perform the job
Job Qualifications
- Current valid RN license in state of practice or compact licensure
- BLS certification
- Experience in clinical area applied for is desired
- Maintain clinical competencies appropriate to area
- Minimum one year acute care experience for acute care positions
- Minimum one year experience in physician practice or acute care for physician practice positions
- Ability to operate a personal vehicle and valid driver’s license for Home Health settings
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card for specified behavioral health roles
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Professional certification preferred
- Additional related education or experience preferred
Job Duties
- Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
- Review patient history and physical with patient/family and assure completion within appropriate timeframe
- Formulate a plan of care including discharge plan using assessment data and patient-team input
- Implement plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team
- Evaluate patient and family responses to care and revise plan of care as needed
- Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient record accurately and timely
- Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and support education and role development of staff and students
