AdventHealth values its employees as unique individuals, encouraging professional growth and spiritual development, contributing to a purpose-driven community. Renowned for its comprehensive benefits and supportive work environment, AdventHealth fosters a culture where staff members are empowered to thrive and serve their communities with compassion and excellence. The organization provides a range of health insurance plans, retirement options, paid time off, parental leave, and wellness resources designed to support both employees and their families from day one of employment.

The Health Optimization Center at Celebration, part of the AdventHealth Medical Group, provides specialized nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy to optimize patient well-being. Located in Celebration, Florida, this facility offers a state-of-the-art environment where nutrition professionals can deliver comprehensive care to patients. The full-time Registered Dietitian Nutritionist position is based at this center and operates primarily during day shifts from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, with a potential option for four 10-hour workdays. The salary range for this position is $23.71 to $44.09 per hour, commensurate with experience and credentials.

In this role, the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) will perform nutrition-focused physical assessments, gather and analyze patient data, evaluate nutrition risks, and develop tailored interventions. Responsibilities include monitoring progress towards nutrition goals, placing feeding tubes or conducting advanced assessments such as indirect calorimetry, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary care teams. This position also involves supervising dietetic interns and new staff, participating in quality improvement projects, and maintaining accurate electronic health records and nutrition orders according to medical staff policies.

The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of nutrition services, familiar computer skills including Microsoft Office, and the ability to effectively communicate and consult within a healthcare setting. Participation in interdisciplinary meetings and commitment to ongoing professional development are essential. The role demands attention to detail and initiative in identifying and solving barriers to patient care standards, as well as contributing to education and research activities. The RDN is also responsible for ensuring compliance with patient safety goals and adapting interventions based on reassessment and updated data.
