Job Description
Mattr is a leading provider of advanced material technologies and complex manufacturing expertise, catering to infrastructure markets on a global scale. With a diverse portfolio of brands, Mattr delivers highly engineered solutions, cutting-edge technology, and innovative products designed to meet the evolving needs of various industrial sectors. One of its standout brands, ShawFlex, holds a prominent position as the market leader in the Electrical Infrastructure industry. ShawFlex is trusted for its extensive range of wire and cable solutions that span from standard offerings to fully customized products tailored to the unique requirements of customers. The company thrives on an entrepreneurial culture and strong channel relationships, emphasizing engineered-to-order products that address specific client challenges.
As a Regional Sales Manager for the Western United States, you will play a critical role in driving Mattr’s growth through its ShawFlex product lines. This full-time position entails responsibility for expanding market presence, influencing end-user product specifications, and strengthening strategic partnerships with channel partners. Your success will be measured by your ability to generate profitable growth by leveraging technical selling expertise, a deep understanding of customer needs, and your capacity to nurture long-term relationships. You will represent Mattr in key industrial markets across the Western U.S., engaging directly with end users, contractors, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to create demand and secure product specifications. This role demands a keen strategic mindset to develop and implement regional distribution strategies, coordinate with sales agents and distributors, and maintain high visibility in the market through active participation in industry events.
In addition to managing sales activities, you will be tasked with overseeing account management efforts, preparing competitive quotations, and supporting marketing initiatives by gathering market intelligence and tracking emerging product opportunities. Your ability to communicate technical solutions clearly and effectively through presentations will be essential to foster customer trust and confidence. Compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, alongside upholding company ethics and regulatory standards, is also a vital aspect of the role. The position requires frequent travel, over 50 percent of the time, to support business development and customer engagement throughout the region. Fluency in English is mandatory, with French language skills also required to meet the diverse communication needs within the organization. Joining Mattr means becoming part of a dynamic team committed to innovation, growth, and delivering exceptional value to customers worldwide.
