We are currently seeking a highly skilled Regional Safety Manager to join our team, with a focus on infrastructure and heavy civil construction projects. This full-time position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $110,000 to $140,000 per year, reflecting the advanced expertise and responsibility required for the role. The successful candidate will be based in either Boise, ID, or Dallas, TX, offering the flexibility to work near these vibrant cities while overseeing multiple high-profile projects.

The role of Regional Safety Manager is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the safety standards across several sites simultaneously. This position involves providing comprehensive safety and health oversight, ensuring all projects comply with OSHA, USACE, and other pertinent regulatory bodies. An essential part of the role is mentoring and guiding project management teams and field personnel on best safety practices, creating a safety-first mindset that permeates the organization.

Candidates for this role should bring at least five years of relevant experience in heavy civil construction safety management or a closely related field. They should possess a robust knowledge base of OSHA and USACE safety standards, with specialized expertise in areas such as crane lifting and rigging operations, fall protection, confined space entry, structural concrete work, and operations conducted on or over water. Experience in these sectors ensures the Regional Safety Manager can anticipate risks, implement effective controls, and respond swiftly to any safety concerns.

Additional responsibilities include delivering targeted safety training to project teams, managing compliance with training requirements, and assisting in the development of detailed site-specific safety plans and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs). The Regional Safety Manager will also lead incident investigations, document findings to company standards, and maintain open lines of communication with all project stakeholders and regulatory authorities.

The successful applicant will demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills and the capability to enforce a zero-incident safety culture. This role demands strong interpersonal abilities to build and maintain productive relationships with safety managers, site safety representatives, subcontractors, and clients alike. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability to new technologies is crucial, enabling efficient reporting and communication.

Travel is a significant aspect of this position, with approximately 70 percent travel expected to various project locations nationwide. Candidates must be willing and able to travel by air or vehicle and either reside in or be willing to relocate within one hour of a company regional office to ensure prompt and effective project support.
