Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a successful pastry chef
- Minimum three years of experience in a pastry kitchen handling preparation and cooking
- Strong attention to detail
- Creative with a problem-solving approach
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, sanitation principles, baking techniques, and nutrition
- Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Craft dessert menus that fit the restaurant concept and locale while collaborating with the Executive Chef
- Prepare detailed recipe cards and ensure adherence to them for consistency
- Motivate, teach, and maintain a positive culture among pastry cooks by sharing inspiration and ideas
- Communicate effectively with other chefs and be receptive to feedback and recipe adjustments
- Maintain clean and sanitary workstations adhering to all DHEC regulations including equipment and refrigeration
- Report product shortages, equipment problems, or food quality issues promptly to the Executive Chef
- Participate in employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement
- Ensure that the guest experience remains the top priority in all activities
