Job Description

HealthCARE Express is a leading urgent care provider that operates a network of 15 clinics along with a specialty clinic and medical billing department across Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Committed to delivering exceptional patient care, HealthCARE Express focuses on providing timely and compassionate medical services to communities across these states. The company emphasizes employee development, teamwork, and fostering a positive work environment where team members can thrive and grow professionally. Their vision includes maintaining excellent patient care standards while supporting employees with a culture that values dependability, flexibility, and collaboration.

The position of Regional Float Front Desk Team Member, also known as the Director of First Impressions (D.O.F.I.), is a part-time, as-needed role offering $15.00 per hour with primarily 12-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. This role involves providing front desk coverage at HealthCARE Express clinics located in Maumelle, Bryant, and Sherwood, Arkansas. Unlike a traditional front desk position fixed to a single location, the Regional Float D.O.F.I. floats between these three clinics based on the organization's coverage needs. This dynamic work structure is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in different environments, appreciate variety in their daily tasks, and have the flexibility to travel between locations.

The Regional Float D.O.F.I. is a key player in ensuring smooth front office operations and delivering a welcoming experience to all patients that visit these clinics. Responsibilities include greeting patients, assisting them through the check-in process, verifying patient demographics and insurance details, answering incoming phone calls, collecting payments, maintaining accurate patient accounts, and managing patient documentation through scanning and record keeping. Maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations is a critical aspect of this role, as is effectively communicating with healthcare providers and support staff to coordinate patient care smoothly. The role also involves stepping in and cross-training to help in other administrative functions when necessary.

This position calls for someone who is adaptable, organized, and dependable with a strong customer service orientation. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced medical environment and possesses basic computer skills. Prior experience working in a medical office or front desk setting is beneficial but not mandatory. This position offers a unique opportunity within HealthCARE Express to engage with a variety of teams, support multiple clinics, and contribute directly to the excellent patient care the company is known for. If you're looking for a flexible, part-time position that values communication skills, teamwork, and adaptability, this role is an excellent fit.
