Job Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of previous experience as a regional director of operations for full-service Marriott or Hilton hotels
  • Proven track record in multi-unit hotel management within major brands
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to get the job done
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple properties and teams effectively
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision needed
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of multi-unit hotel management experience
  • Proven expertise in Marriott and Hilton hotel brands
  • Previous experience as a regional director of operations overseeing full-service hotels
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and creatively solve problems
  • Demonstrated success in improving financial performance and operational standards
  • Experience with corporate program implementation and technology platforms

Job Duties

  • Act as the direct liaison between hotels and Ascent corporate office
  • Provide guidance to managers on hotel operations, reservation delivery, guest satisfaction scores, quality assurance scores, sales and marketing techniques, and revenue management
  • Implement action plans to achieve a solid return on investment
  • Hire, develop, and manage a team of general managers as primary hotel contacts
  • Serve as subject matter expert on all brand standards, corporate programs, and technology platforms used
  • Manage escalated hotel expectations related to reservation contribution and service delivery
  • Track and record hotel correspondences
