Job Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of previous experience as a regional director of operations for full-service Marriott or Hilton hotels
- Proven track record in multi-unit hotel management within major brands
- Strong attention to detail and ability to get the job done
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple properties and teams effectively
- Self-starter with minimal supervision needed
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of multi-unit hotel management experience
- Proven expertise in Marriott and Hilton hotel brands
- Previous experience as a regional director of operations overseeing full-service hotels
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and creatively solve problems
- Demonstrated success in improving financial performance and operational standards
- Experience with corporate program implementation and technology platforms
Job Duties
- Act as the direct liaison between hotels and Ascent corporate office
- Provide guidance to managers on hotel operations, reservation delivery, guest satisfaction scores, quality assurance scores, sales and marketing techniques, and revenue management
- Implement action plans to achieve a solid return on investment
- Hire, develop, and manage a team of general managers as primary hotel contacts
- Serve as subject matter expert on all brand standards, corporate programs, and technology platforms used
- Manage escalated hotel expectations related to reservation contribution and service delivery
- Track and record hotel correspondences
