The role of Regional Chef at Eurest is designed for culinary professionals who seek to exercise leadership, creativity, and operational expertise within the food service industry. This full-time position offers an annual salary range of $110,000 to $120,000 and falls under Pay Grade 17. As a Regional Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting Eurest's leadership team by planning, implementing, and overseeing new food concepts and culinary programs across a designated territory. Your responsibilities will include researching, testing, developing, documenting, training, and implementing innovative dishes and food programs that enhance Eurest's service offerings. Additionally, you will be involved in new facility design and rollout, menu creation, cost reduction initiatives, and maintaining culinary standards across multiple locations.

This position demands extensive interaction with unit chefs, corporate executive chefs, and regional directors to ensure smooth communication and consistency in culinary practices. You will also take an active part in onboarding and orienting new chefs, ensuring adherence to Core Culinary Standards, and championing the company’s Culinary Center for Excellence benchmark. With approximately 75% travel expected, the role requires agility and adaptability as you provide culinary leadership, training, and coaching to the teams within your territory. Your efforts will ensure that food service operations meet regulatory compliance requirements and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Job Requirements

  • culinary arts degree from a recognized culinary school or equivalent experience
  • five years of progressive food service production management experience
  • serv-safe certification
  • computer literacy including microsoft office suite and webtrition software packages
  • willingness to travel up to 75 percent

Job Duties

  • orientates new chefs within their respective core culinary standards and established food programs
  • maintains all culinary programs and standards in their home account to the level of culinary center for excellence
  • provides support for new account openings and or renovations within the territory
  • provides culinary leadership to chefs within the respective territory
  • assists with training, coaching, and development of culinary personnel within assigned territory
  • completes all required reports, logs, and core culinary reviews in a timely manner
  • communicates effectively with corporate executive chef, regional director of operations, and unit level chefs
