As a Regional Chef at Aramark, you will play a critical role in bringing culinary creativity to life while adhering to the highest standards of food safety and quality. This position allows you to work with fresh ingredients and state-of-the-art equipment in a dynamic environment that encourages experimentation with diverse cuisines, flavors, and cooking techniques. The role extends beyond simple food preparation to include developing, enhancing, and portioning dishes according to standardized recipes and production guidelines. The Regional Chef will be responsible for preparing various dishes by applying different cooking methods such as baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming, ensuring that every meal meets the company’s excellence standards.
In this role, you will prepare your workstation with all necessary tools and ingredients, carry out ingredient preparation tasks—including measuring, weighing, blending, cutting, trimming, and peeling—and operate various kitchen appliances such as ovens, cookers, cutting machinery, and mixers. Maintaining a sanitary and germ-free environment is essential, as is following Aramark’s stringent food safety policies regarding proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices. Customer service is also a significant aspect of the job, so maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor while interacting with guests, clients, and coworkers is vital.
