Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cooking experience preferred
- Must be able to acquire food safety certification
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols
- Good physical condition to meet job demands

Job Qualifications
- Experience as a cook or in a related role
- Validated knowledge of basic principles of food preparation and various cooking methods
- Understanding of food safety regulations including proper handling, sanitation, and storage
- Ability to acquire food safety certification
- Basic math and counting skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
- Physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Follow production instructions and standardized recipes to prepare a diverse array of dishes
- Ready the workstation with required tools and ingredients
- Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, blending, cutting, trimming, and peeling food items
- Safely use various utensils including knives
- Operate appliances like ovens, cookers, cutting machinery, and mixers
- Use different cooking methods such as baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming
- Maintain the quality and safety of food through proper storage
- Keep work areas, utensils, and devices sanitary and germ free
- Deliver top-notch customer service maintaining a cheerful demeanor
- Comply with Aramark safety protocols focusing on food safety and sanitation
- Maintain safety measures for organizational resources
