The company's commitment to people-first principles is evident in its work environment and operational approach, making it a sought-after employer for professionals passionate about building the future of construction while contributing to meaningful innovation. This role is located at the EquipmentShare rental facility in Bakersfield, California, known as Advanced Solutions, a critical hub for equipment distribution and customer service within the company’s network. The employment type is full-time with a salary range from $22 to $34 per hour, determined by experience and location factors, accompanied by overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a week and potential additional compensation for on-call scheduling.
The Regional CDL Delivery Driver position is fundamental in EquipmentShare's mission to bring innovation to the construction industry through the efficient and safe transportation of heavy equipment. The role demands expertise in operating vehicles within federal and state transportation laws and requires skillful maneuvering of large trucks and trailers at loading and unloading sites. Responsibilities emphasize maintaining safety, efficiency, and excellent customer relations, as the driver represents EquipmentShare directly at delivery points. Beyond driving, the role includes assisting with loading and unloading equipment using specialized tools, managing paperwork such as invoices and bills of lading, conducting routine vehicle maintenance checks, and facilitating optimal trailer arrangements within shipping yards. The company fosters a supportive environment where the driver will be part of a problem-solving team committed to continuous improvement, energy, and optimism every day.
This position is more than just logistics; it embodies EquipmentShare’s ethos of building something special, blending technology, teamwork, and community impact.
