We are actively seeking a friendly and dependable Receptionist/Cashier to act as the welcoming first point of contact for customers visiting or calling our dealership. This role is integral to maintaining the smooth operations of the front office and ensuring every customer interaction begins with a positive and professional experience. The Receptionist/Cashier will be responsible for greeting customers, handling various payment methods, performing basic accounting tasks, and assisting the office staff with clerical duties. The Receptionist/Cashier shift schedule is designed to accommodate a work-life balance, with hours from 4pm to 8pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and 7am to 5pm on Saturdays.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Basic accounting knowledge or willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills
- Dependable and organized
- Comfortable handling cash and payment transactions
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work 4pm to 8pm Monday Wednesday and Friday and 7am to 5pm Saturdays
Job Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite is a plus
- Customer service experience
- Ability to communicate customers' interests needs and requests to management and sales personnel
- Professional personal appearance
- Available to work flexible hours on weeknights and weekends
Job Duties
- Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone in a professional courteous manner
- Answer incoming calls determine the nature of the call and route callers to the appropriate department promptly
- Operate the switchboard telephone system efficiently and accurately
- Receive cash check and credit card payments
- issue receipts and make change accurately
- Perform routine accounting tasks related to accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Assist managers and office staff with clerical and administrative duties as needed
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers vendors and internal team members
- Learn dealership departments procedures and internal processes to assist customers efficiently
