The position available is a full-time Day Shift Front Desk Receptionist role with SCAH-Sutter Care at Home - Valley. The role is integral to the organization as it involves being the first point of contact for patients, visitors, employees, and staff. The receptionist is responsible for greeting and welcoming everyone in a courteous and professional manner, which sets a positive tone for the overall patient and visitor experience. This includes determining the nature and purpose of each visit, providing clear directions, or escorting visitors to their destinations.
The position requires an individual who is proactive and capable of using good judgment and initiative to handle various routine tasks. The receptionist must prioritize information and requests efficiently on behalf of visitors while maintaining a thorough understanding of the medical center and affiliate facilities to assist visitors accurately. Adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, including those related to privacy and safety, is mandatory in this role to protect patient information and comply with healthcare standards.
This job offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $24.00 to $31.20, depending on geographic location and candidate qualifications, and includes a comprehensive benefits package. The schedule is primarily Monday through Friday with occasional weekend shifts, totaling 40 hours per week. This full-time non-exempt position demands a dependable and organized individual who thrives in a dynamic healthcare environment where multitasking and interpersonal communication skills are critical.
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED and demonstrate strong communication skills, time management abilities, and computer literacy in applications such as Microsoft Office and EPIC systems.
