The temporary Receptionist position at Avamere of Issaquah is available starting May 6, 2026, for an estimated duration of 2 to 3 months. The role operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a competitive wage of $22 per hour. The Receptionist serves as a vital first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff, performing a variety of clerical and support functions essential to the day-to-day activities within the facility. This role requires a candidate who embodies professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations. The Receptionist will be expected to greet and direct visitors, answer and route incoming calls efficiently, manage mail distribution, and ensure compliance with visitor sign-in procedures, including issuing ID badges.
Additionally, the Receptionist acts as an administrative support resource to the facility's Administrator and Department Directors, helping to streamline operations through effective communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience in clerical roles, preferably within a healthcare office setting, alongside customer service experience to handle interactions with warmth and cheerfulness. The capacity to utilize general office equipment and computer systems with proficiency is also essential. Job Duties
- Answer telephones, operate facility paging system, and manage resident list and incoming calls to residents
- Greet visitors, and give directions and information to guests, residents and sales representatives
- Ensure all visitors abide by existing rules, use ID badges and manage the sign in/out log
- Assist Administrator and Department Directors in administrative manners
- Receive, sort and distribute mail
