Job Description

We are currently seeking a Receptionist to become the first point of contact for our company and manage front desk operations efficiently. This is a critical role that combines administrative support duties with customer service responsibilities to ensure smooth communication flow throughout the dealership. As a Receptionist, you will greet visitors warmly, coordinate front desk activities, handle phone calls with professionalism, and distribute incoming correspondence effectively. You will be tasked with answering phones using established scripts and directing customers to the appropriate personnel, ensuring that all calls are promptly and efficiently managed.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both in person and across telephone and written correspondence. Your role will involve maintaining a pleasant and courteous demeanor, as you represent the first impression to guests and callers. You will be required to acquire detailed product knowledge about Lexus makes and models and demonstrate proficiency with dealership software to manage all customer contact information accurately. Attention to detail is essential, as you will be responsible for logging customer interactions 100% of the time and assisting management with planning recognition activities such as birthdays and anniversaries.

Additional responsibilities will include maintaining adequate office supplies, invoicing for general dealership services, performing specific month-end tasks such as preparing reports or submitting information via specialized platforms, and supporting usage of software to generate basic reports for used car Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) units. You may also be asked to scan repair orders (ROs) and assist with various special duties as assigned by management.

This role operates on a part-time schedule primarily over weekends, with the following hours: Fridays 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturdays 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sundays 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The compensation for this position ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.
