Job Duties
- Activate and operate the dimension
- answer and direct all incoming calls
- be ready at all times to operate the page system in emergency situations
- receive and greet all visitors and residents in the reception area
- answer questions regarding resident room numbers and directions
- screen and carefully manage entry of visitors at the front door
- notify proper personnel of ambulance arrivals
- screen and announce phone calls when necessary
- assist families and visitors with the accushield sign-in process
- make photocopies for staff as requested
- input work orders through the work order program
- record and distribute general information sheets to appropriate departments
- distribute raffle tickets and collect money for events
- record room numbers on residents mail
- close the office every evening according to the procedure manual
- forward mail to appropriate family members and discharged residents
- perform clerical duties including typing and filing
- hand out paychecks to new hires on payday Fridays and record counts on weekends
- take meal orders for associates and families using the Full Count System
- monitor daily admissions and discharges
- receive clothing and items from families
