This particular role, Receptionist/Office Assistant, is an integral position within the property management team. Reporting directly to the Property Manager, the Receptionist/Office Assistant is responsible for a broad scope of office tasks aimed at supporting daily property operations. This position involves being the first point of contact for residents, guests, vendors, and potential residents, ensuring a smooth and professional front desk experience.
The Receptionist/Office Assistant handles incoming telephone calls, screens and directs messages, and manages resident requests in accordance with company policies. They play a vital role in coordinating work orders for apartment or complex repairs, maintaining accurate files, processing incoming and outgoing mail, and enforcing building policies and House Rules. This role requires the ability to respond calmly and effectively during emergency situations, sometimes independently if needed, demonstrating the need for responsibility and reliability.
The ideal candidate for this role possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse array of people. This opportunity offers a competitive pay range of $20.00 to $24.00 per hour. Employees who work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for an attractive benefits package, which includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision care with 100% coverage for preventive care. Additionally, vacation leave accrues up to ten days per year during the first year, and employees can accumulate up to 72 hours of sick leave annually.
