Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in an ambulatory care or customer service environment preferred
- Basic knowledge or willingness to learn medical terminology
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in computer operations and office equipment use
- Availability for full-time day shift work
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Previous training in general medical office skills and procedures is preferred
- Proficient or knowledgeable in medical terminology preferred but not required
- One to two years of experience in an ambulatory care or similar setting preferred
- Basic computer and telephone skills
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
Job Duties
- Perform clerical duties in the ambulatory care setting
- Manage reception and scheduling for outpatient services
- Handle patient financial account functions including billing and basic account posting
- Assist in coordinating primary health care services
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems
- Operate office equipment and computer systems proficiently
