Job Description

Marvin Engineering Co, a leading defense contractor based in Southern California near the Los Angeles International Airport, is seeking a Receptionist to support safety and security measures for employees, visitors, and company assets. The company consists of Marvin Engineering (MEC), Marvin Test Solutions (MTS), and Marvin Land Systems (MLS), specializing in military Alternate Mission Equipment, armament Test Equipment, and power and thermal management systems.

Job Requirements

1 - 3 years of related experience of security and safety procedures pertaining to DOD required
5+ years of receptionist experience required at this level
strong written and verbal communication skills
proficient knowledge of Windows based computer and Microsoft desktop applications (Excel, Word, PP)
able to work independently with little supervision
strong skills in organizing and prioritizing
professional dress attire
BSIS is preferred
courteous and alert
must be available to work overtime and weekends, as required
must be able to speak/read/write English
must be able to lift 35 lbs
bilingual a plus
