Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk or stand for entire work shift
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
- Ability to lift 1 to 5 lbs and occasionally up to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs
- Fine motor coordination and good depth perception
- Ability to hear equipment sounds from a distance
- Willingness to wear gloves for prolonged periods due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens
- Reliable attendance scheduled for part-time shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer or patient facing role
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good communication and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Answer phones and greet all visitors including new and repeat donors promptly exhibiting customer service skills
- Assist donors with appointments and create or pull donor record files
- Provide customer service to donors and fellow employees
- Maintain orderly filing system and purge records
- Report to center management team on operational opportunities and initiate process improvements
- Support plasma center operations through administrative tasks
