The Receptionist position plays a pivotal role, acting as the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, and serving as the communication hub for the community. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a receptionist or customer-facing role preferred
  • strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • proficiency in basic computer applications
  • ability to handle multiple tasks effectively

  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • dependable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • previous reception or customer service experience preferred

  • basic knowledge of office equipment and procedures

Job Duties

  • Answer all incoming calls courteously and professionally
  • answer all incoming door rings and direct visitors
  • check building front desk voicemail daily and relay messages
  • take appropriate messages from callers families residents including date time from to message callback number
  • manage common area reservations calendar and prep for upcoming events including accommodations and accompanying sheet notify Director team
  • manage transportation requests and schedule log take requests fill out slips add to calendar communicate to transportation as needed
  • assist in organization of office area including checking office supplies ordering new ink toner for printer reporting items needing to be reordered unpacking supplies and restocking
  • input work orders into work order system
  • manage sign in out for residents and guests ensuring screening is complete
  • deliver all packages mail at front desk area front vestibule to resident rooms
  • perform clerical duties as requested such as photocopying faxing filing collating mailing
