The team at Elizabeth Adam Crump Health and Rehab has a rich history of delivering tailored healthcare services designed to enhance the quality of life of those they serve. Being part of this organization means joining a healthcare family that upholds the highest standards of care and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
The role of Receptionist at Elizabeth Adam Crump Health and Rehab Center is a part-time position, primarily scheduled for every other weekend, ideally suited for individuals who are organized, patient, and have a passion for helping others. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, the receptionist plays a vital role in shaping the initial experience of patients, their families, and vendors entering the facility. This position requires a courteous and professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to customer service. The receptionist will be responsible for managing the telephone switchboard efficiently, ensuring calls are answered promptly and directed correctly. Additionally, they will greet and assist visitors, ensuring they sign in appropriately and receive proper guidance or support to find their destination within the center.
Beyond the front desk duties, the receptionist also supports the administrative team by performing a range of clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, preparing informational materials, handling mail, and ordering supplies. They must maintain a neat and orderly reception area and demonstrate keen awareness of the facility’s environment to ensure safety and smooth operations. Importantly, the individual in this role must be familiar with key safety protocols and confidentiality policies, including Standard Precautions, the Exposure Control Plan, fire drill and evacuation procedures, and remain vigilant to protect residents from neglect or abuse.
This position demands a genuine caring attitude towards the elderly and disabled, excellent self-discipline, patience, and strong organizational skills. The receptionist serves not only as an information resource but also as an ambassador of the facility’s values and commitment to resident rights. Through daily responsibilities, the receptionist helps uphold the center’s reputation for hospitality and professional care, making a meaningful contribution to the well-being of residents and the overall success of the health and rehab center.
