The role of Receptionist at Lake Barcroft Dental Group is a vital position that serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, acting as the face of the practice. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Modeling company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework
  • Support the Perfect Patient Experience process by assisting patients with check-in and ensuring comfort during visits
  • Schedule appointments that provide a smooth and productive day for healthcare providers
  • Interact and communicate effectively with patients and guests during wait times
  • Answer telephone calls promptly and handle inquiries efficiently
  • Complete daily front office checklist tasks
  • Post payments to patient accounts accurately in accordance with company policies
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the practice management system regarding patient registration and account accuracy
  • Efficiently check in patients, obtain necessary consents, and notify back-office staff promptly
  • Confirm patient appointments at least two days in advance following office policies
  • Return and resolve all patient messages received from the Contact Center in a timely manner
  • Participate actively in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of business imperatives and role-related metrics
  • Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand aligned with the brand framework
  • Support clinicians by understanding and promoting patient education on the Mouth-Body Connection
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor according to company policies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
