The Diabetes Research Institute at the University of Miami is excited to offer a full-time Receptionist position that plays a vital role in maintaining the positive and professional image of the department and the larger institution. The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, patients, staff, and students, greeting and assisting them either in person or over the telephone. This role demands not only courteous and prompt customer service skills but also a high degree of professionalism and efficiency to handle inquiries and direct communications appropriately. The Receptionist will support the department’s function by managing incoming and outgoing calls, responding to general questions, and forwarding specific requests to the relevant staff members, ensuring smooth and effective communication workflows.
