Job Description
CenterWell Senior Primary Care, a proud part of Humana Inc., stands at the forefront of providing specialized, senior-focused primary care across the United States. Known for its proactive approach toward preventative care, this healthcare provider emphasizes personalized and compassionate treatment for older adults, ensuring their unique health needs are met with attention and expertise. CenterWell Senior Primary Care integrates various healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and behavioral health specialists, working collaboratively to improve health outcomes. Their care model dedicates substantially more time to each patient compared with traditional practices, which allows for a comprehensive understanding of not only physical health but also emotional and social well-being. This holistic approach ensures patients experience better quality care and more fulfilling healthcare experiences.
The company promotes an inclusive, supportive environment where employees are encouraged to contribute meaningfully to patient care and overall wellness. Located in Houston, TX, the Conviva Senior Primary Care office is a key location where this dedication to excellence is exemplified. The facility delivers a welcoming atmosphere for both patients and staff, guided by a management team committed to operational excellence and empathetic service delivery.
The role of Receptionist 1 at the Conviva Senior Primary Care office is critical to maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of the facility. This position involves managing the front desk, operating a multi-line phone system, and providing immediate support to visitors and callers. As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, the Receptionist plays a vital role in shaping the experience of everyone entering the office. Beyond greeting visitors and handling calls, the Receptionist manages important administrative tasks such as message distribution, visitor pass issuance, visitor log maintenance, and coordination of meeting rooms and mail distribution.
This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in routine-based environments yet value the importance of attention to detail and excellent customer service. Candidates with healthcare experience or a background in customer service sectors such as retail, hospitality, or call centers will find this role rewarding and impactful. Because the role is patient-facing and responsible for running the Tuberculosis screening program, it demands a compassionate yet meticulous approach to health safety protocols.
In addition to competitive compensation, CenterWell Senior Primary Care offers a supportive culture focused on whole-person well-being. Full-time Receptionists are entitled to an attractive salary ranging from $41,800 to $50,400 per year, with opportunities for bonus incentives based on individual and company performance. Scheduled weekly hours are set at 40, reflecting the full-time nature of the position and providing a stable work schedule.
Employees benefit from a comprehensive package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, paid time off, including holidays and parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, and life insurance. The company values diversity and inclusion, operating with a commitment to equal opportunity employment that respects and promotes the rights and dignity of all staff members.
By joining CenterWell Senior Primary Care as a Receptionist 1, individuals contribute directly to the frontline of patient care and administrative excellence. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills within a supportive team while contributing to a mission that deeply values improving senior health and quality of life. The employment process includes modern interviewing techniques such as HireVue, making the hiring experience flexible and convenient. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to build a career in healthcare administration within a compassionate and industry-leading organization.
