The role of Receptionist at Partners Group's New York office is a vital position that ensures excellent front-of-house operations and effective office support. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience as a receptionist or in an administrative support role preferred
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • ability to handle multi-line phone systems
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • customer service orientation
  • capability to perform light physical tasks such as restocking supplies and setting up meeting rooms
  • willingness to support office operations and management

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in receptionist or front desk roles preferred

  • proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Outlook
  • experience using expense management tools such as SAP Concur

Job Duties

  • Receive visitors at the front desk and provide a positive experience
  • greet, direct and announce visitors appropriately
  • coordinate visitor arrivals by reserving and preparing conference rooms
  • set up refreshments and follow building security procedures
  • provide concierge services such as wi-fi access, taxi coordination, and restaurant reservations
  • answer, screen and forward incoming calls from the multi-line switchboard
  • maintain distribution of incoming and outgoing mail
  • assist with setup and clearing of in-house catered events
  • maintain up-to-date desk instructions and departmental materials
  • manage expenses through SAP Concur
  • conduct written and oral communication with professionalism
  • set up and clean up catered breakfasts
  • perform regular walkthroughs to maintain office cleanliness
  • manage and restock office supplies and pantry inventory
  • reset conference rooms between meetings
  • restock printer paper
  • address maintenance and field service requests
  • pick up daily lunch deliveries
  • deep clean desks for departing and incoming employees
  • manage delivery packages and unpack supplies
  • assist office management team with administrative tasks
