Job Description

Conviva Senior Primary Care is a specialized healthcare provider focused on delivering proactive and preventive care tailored for seniors. Located at 5718 Spohn Dr., #100, Corpus Christi, TX 78414, Conviva is part of Humana's extensive Primary Care Organization network, which includes CenterWell Senior Primary Care. Conviva’s mission centers around providing value-based care that addresses the diverse health needs of senior patients, incorporating wellness visits, physical exams, chronic condition management, screenings, minor injury treatments, and more. The organization extends its care philosophy beyond physical health by also tackling social, emotional, behavioral, and financial needs to improve overall patient well-being. As part of a broader healthcare system, Conviva aligns its services with an integrated and patient-focused approach, ensuring that seniors receive personalized, comprehensive health management that optimizes outcomes and controls costs.

The Receptionist 1 role at Conviva Senior Primary Care involves being the welcoming face of the office, tasked with both administrative and patient-facing duties. This full-time position entails operating a multi-line switchboard, routing phone calls, greeting patients both in person and by phone, and scheduling appointments while coordinating with medical staff to streamline operations. A crucial component of the role includes managing patient records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date information, which is integral to delivering quality care. Additional responsibilities involve handling co-pay collections, responding to patient inquiries, and maintaining a clean, well-organized reception area that reflects the clinic’s commitment to sanitation and patient comfort.

The Receptionist 1 also supports the clinic's operational functions by ordering supplies, managing inventory, and coordinating courier packages. Since this role involves patient interaction and participation in the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program, selected candidates will be required to undergo TB screening as part of standard healthcare compliance. The position offers a competitive salary range of $38,000 to $45,800 per year, which may vary depending on the geographic location and individual candidate skills and experience. It also includes eligibility for a bonus incentive plan based on performance, emphasizing the importance of individual and company success. Conviva's commitment to associate well-being is further highlighted by a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and parental and caregiver leave.

Working at Conviva means contributing to a healthcare environment that values patient-centered care and fosters a team-oriented culture where employees are empowered to make a meaningful impact. The receptionist plays a vital role in shaping the patient experience, helping to ensure that seniors receive seamless, respectful, and attentive care from their first point of contact with the clinic. Conviva’s integration with Humana and its subsidiaries places the receptionist at the heart of a well-established healthcare network with a strong emphasis on innovation and quality service delivery, making this role an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about healthcare and customer service.
