The Receptionist position at Gallagher plays a critical role as the face of the office, welcoming onsite visitors and serving as the primary point of contact for incoming communications. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage of $21.00 and operates Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The individual in this position is responsible for maintaining a professional and inviting lobby appearance, managing phone calls, sorting and routing mail, and handling various clerical duties that support the smooth operation of the office. The role requires someone who is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills to ensure effective interaction with visitors, clients, and internal personnel. Job Duties

  • Welcome onsite visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel
  • Maintain lobby appearance
  • Answer incoming phone calls, determine purpose of callers, and forward calls to appropriate personnel
  • Provide callers with information about the organization including address and directions
  • Sort and route incoming mail, both paper and electronic, to appropriate personnel
  • Process outgoing mail including UPS/FedEx packages
  • Order, receive, and maintain office supplies including business cards and specialty printed materials
  • Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, filing and maintaining data
  • Other duties as assigned
