In this role as a Receptionist at the Plymouth, MI facility, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, customers, vendors, and employees, representing the company with professionalism and friendliness. Your primary focus will be managing front office operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. This includes welcoming guests, handling incoming and outgoing communications, and providing updates on scheduled events and visits. Beyond typical receptionist tasks, the position requires oversight and ownership of shared common areas such as the cafeteria, kitchenette, conference rooms, and prayer room, maintaining them in a clean and organized manner for all staff and visitors. You will actively manage inventory control and replenishment for consumable items and office supplies, contributing to the facility's operational efficiency. Additionally, you will assist with scheduling meetings, managing room reservations, and maintaining site calendars.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and friendly, cooperative and helpful demeanor
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to work independently, multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Welcoming and assisting guest, visitors, employees and/or staff in a friendly, courteous and professional manner
- Establishing and maintaining cooperative relationships with office staff and leadership through frequent touchpoint meetings to better support the smooth execution of operational efforts
- Exercising oversight and ownership of the shared common areas (cafeteria, kitchenette area, conference rooms, prayer room, etc.) and partnering with facility management and/or custodian services in ensuring that these areas are maintained in a clean, organized and appropriate fashion for staff, guests, and visitors
- Actively maintaining inventory control/management and replenishment setpoints of consumable kitchenette items and office supplies
- Assisting staff with scheduling meetings, room reservations and the maintenance of site calendars
- Receiving and responding to phone calls, emails and/or general inquiries to the site in a prompt and professional manner
- Receiving, sorting and forwarding physical mail to recipients
- Managing guest/visitor sign-in procedures and the issuing of badges as required
- Providing administrative support to include filing, shared drive archiving, creating/maintaining excel spreadsheets, monitoring/reporting credit card purchases, and providing other miscellaneous efforts as needed/required
- Supporting HR and management with clerical tasks as needed
- Strict adherence to company safety, security, and confidentiality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
