We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional Receptionist to join our team at a high-profile company’s fitness center based in midtown Manhattan, NYC. This role is crucial as the first point of contact for members and guests, embodying the company’s values through warm and professional engagements at the facility’s front desk. The Receptionist will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting members, addressing inquiries, managing payments, and ensuring smooth front desk operations. The Receptionist will manage day-to-day administrative responsibilities including handling account inquiries and payments, maintaining inventory of supplies and retail products, and supporting facility cleanliness. Proficiency with basic computer functions and Microsoft Office Suite is required to keep administrative tasks well-organized and streamlined. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in customer service or receptionist role preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office
  • ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
  • professional and friendly demeanor
  • willingness to obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certifications if applicable
