IWG’s Memphis location at 107 S. Main Street is seeking a full-time Community Associate to join their team on a permanent contract basis. This position is on-site, providing an opportunity to engage directly with customers from various industries. The Community Associate plays a pivotal role in maintaining a vibrant community within the center and ensuring seamless daily operations, so customers can focus on their businesses without administrative disruptions.
The Community Associate’s role is dynamic and essential to the success of the center. Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with their technical needs such as setting up projectors or troubleshooting WiFi, managing packages and mail, coordinating meeting room bookings, and resolving any issues that arise promptly. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. The associate also supports administrative functions like ensuring accurate service billing and collaborating with center management on event planning and customer engagement activities.
This opportunity comes with an hourly wage of $18.00, along with a quarterly bonus plan that rewards performance. Job Requirements
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- At least 18 years of age
- Willingness to work on-site in Memphis, Tennessee
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Ability to take ownership of problems and find solutions
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- Proficient in MS Office and basic IT equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Business casual workplace experience preferred
Job Duties
- Assist customers with setting up technology and workspace needs including projectors and WiFi
- Manage mail and package delivery for customers
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and ensure facilities are prepared
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with the Community Manager to organize networking events and community activities
- Maintain accurate billing and service charges
- Address and resolve customer issues promptly
