The Receptionist 1 role at Conviva Senior Primary Care is a crucial entry point for patient engagement and administrative support. This full-time position (40 hours per week) offers a starting salary range between $38,000 and $45,800 annually, complemented by an incentive bonus plan based on individual and company performance. The Receptionist 1 is responsible for managing front-desk activities, answering multi-line phone systems, welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records within electronic medical record (EMR) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. The role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle sensitive patient information accurately, including managing appointment calendars, patient accounts, and copay collections.

The position is patient-facing and involves supporting the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program, which requires selected candidates to participate in TB screening. Reporting to the Supervisor of Center Administration, the Receptionist 1 helps ensure the reception area remains organized, clean, and stocked with necessary materials. Additional administrative duties include managing office supplies, inventory, and courier packages. Candidates with exposure to healthcare settings, customer service, or retail hospitality environments are encouraged to apply, with bilingual English and Spanish skills and knowledge of medical terminology considered beneficial. Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Operate a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintain long distance call logs
  • Take and distribute accurate messages
  • Welcome patients and visitors in person and over the phone
  • Schedule appointments and manage appointment calendars
  • Maintain patient records ensuring accuracy using EMR and CRM systems
  • Update patient accounts and collect copay at time of visit
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries and provide general information
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy, sanitized, and well-stocked
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, managing inventory, and sending courier packages
