Job Requirements
- Minimum of 60 units of undergraduate coursework completed preferred
- typing speed of at least 45 words per minute
- basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- working knowledge of office equipment including copiers, postage meter, printers, fax machine
- ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- ability to sit for extended periods
- ability to walk stairways
- good interpersonal skills
- ability to work as part of a team and independently
- must be empathetic and patient in member interactions

Job Duties
- Greet, receive, and announce members and visitors
- answer and route phone inquiries with empathy and patience
- assist with mailing-related projects
- maintain office equipment including copiers and postage meters
- manage conference room calendaring and set up
- reorder routine office supplies
- order food for internal meetings
- track staff expenses and inventories
- keep record of credit card statements and receipts for audits
- review credit card charges with Administrator
- copy and scan local membership deduction documents
- receive and log expense and activity reports from staff
- order and manage office supplies inventory
- assist with technical support and IT coordination
- book travel and arrange housing for conferences
- prepare agenda items and distribute meeting materials
- manage monthly meeting calendar
- distribute mail and packages
- reserve conference rooms
- manage local mailing tracker and registration lists
- assist with convention planning and registration
- print training materials and setup rooms
- create meeting signage
- manage office and building maintenance tasks
- process local rebate checks
- maintain and service office equipment
- manage janitorial and landscaping vendor proposals
- communicate with janitorial services
- handle confidential shredding services
- organize membership mailings
- provide member lists to local officers
- assist with building access and IT support
- update staff directory and contact lists
- post job openings
- manage officer updates in Union ware
