This reimagined resort features 790 recently renovated guestrooms and suites, offering stunning views and direct access to one of Miami's most beautiful beaches. The hotel boasts an oceanfront pool deck, the exclusive Sea Spa, six distinct restaurants and lounges, and over 65,000 square feet of versatile meeting and event space. As part of the renowned Loews Hotels & Co, a company founded in 1960, the Miami Beach location is a significant contributor to the brand's reputation for delivering iconic hospitality across the United States. Loews Hotels & Co operates a collection of hotels and resorts that emphasize diversity, inclusion, and fostering a sense of belonging among team members and guests alike.
The current opening at Loews Miami Beach Hotel is for the position of Barback, a critical role within the beverage service team that ensures smooth, efficient, and high-quality service at all bars on the property. The Barback's primary responsibility is to support both the Bartenders and Beverage Servers by maintaining well-stocked, clean service areas and ensuring that all beverage-related supplies are in place before and during events or daily operations. This role involves a hands-on approach to inventory management, from stocking mixers and glassware to assisting with monthly beverage inventories and storage organization.
A Barback at Loews Miami Beach Hotel is expected to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service, assisting in the service of beverages and the transportation of food trays to and from the dining areas. This position plays a significant part in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests by being polite, friendly, and proactive in meeting their needs, including upselling beverages to enhance the guest experience. The role also necessitates a physical component, including the ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift items up to 50 pounds repeatedly. Working flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential to meet the dynamic needs of the hospitality industry.
Joining the Loews team means becoming part of a culture that values growth, development, and diversity. Employees are encouraged to pursue continuous learning opportunities with access to training, career growth paths, and tuition reimbursement. The company fosters inclusion where every team member is respected and valued for their unique contributions and backgrounds. Compensation and benefits are competitive, including health and wellness options, 401(k) plans with company match, paid sick days, vacation, holidays, and special allowances like pet bereavement leave. The Barback position is perfect for someone seeking to grow their hospitality career within a respected and well-established hotel brand that prioritizes both guest satisfaction and employee wellbeing.
