Job Description

Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care is a highly reputable and patient-focused healthcare provider that operates multiple urgent care centers across the Dallas Fort Worth area, backed by Texas Health, one of the region's largest health systems. Established with the intent to provide convenient, affordable, and accessible urgent care services, Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care is dedicated to treating most minor illnesses and injuries including allergies, earaches, sprains, and strains. The centers are open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 365 days a year, offering comprehensive medical attention without the often lengthy wait times associated with emergency rooms. Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care has been recognized repeatedly for its excellence in urgent care services, receiving multiple awards such as Best Urgent Care/Walk-in Clinic by the Dallas Morning News, finalists in various local media awards, and winners in peoples' choice awards across several localities including Denton, Coppell, Flower Mound, Southlake, and Richardson. This recognition underscores the organization's commitment to high-quality patient-centered care and clinical excellence.

The Clinical Concierge Radiographer at Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care serves a pivotal role in enhancing the patient experience by ensuring smooth operations throughout the urgent care visit. This position is inherently dynamic and requires floating across multiple urgent care locations within the Texas Health system, providing flexibility and the opportunity to work in different environments. Working on a PRN basis, the Clinical Concierge Radiographer supports clinical operations primarily by assisting providers with patient care including but not limited to radiological imaging and other procedures. This role demands not only technical competence in radiography but also strong interpersonal skills to foster trust and comfort among patients and their families.

The Clinical Concierge Radiographer's responsibilities are diverse, ranging from patient registration to administering treatments and diagnostic services such as x-rays and laboratory testing. This professional is crucial in supporting providers by maintaining sterile environments during procedures, handling medication administrations where applicable, and ensuring that all clinical documentation is accurate and timely within the EPIC electronic health record system. The incumbent must demonstrate good judgment, discretion, and decision-making, coupled with a solid customer service attitude. With ongoing competency maintenance in all assigned areas, the Clinical Concierge Radiographer contributes significantly to the quality and efficiency of urgent care services.

Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care values strong unit-based collaboration, professional growth, and efforts to deliver high-quality patient care underpinned by nursing education and continuous innovations. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including 401k, paid time off, medical and dental coverage, paid parental leave, flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursement, and student loan forgiveness, supporting both the professional and personal growth of its staff. New hires receive specialized training recognized by the Commission on Ambulatory and Urgent Care Quality, including the opportunity to earn continuing education contact hours to maintain medical assistant certification. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals who are passionate about urgent care and dedicated to improving patient outcomes in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
