This role is based at the Royal Oak Hospital campus, part of Corewell Health, which is a leading integrated health system known for its dedication to providing innovative and compassionate care across Michigan. The position is full-time, primarily during night shifts from 9 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with variable days worked and every fourth weekend on duty. The job involves organizing schedules for modality employees, ensuring that the manager holds overall schedule accuracy. The employee in this position oversees day-to-day floor operations within the modality, ensuring quality care and facilitating team member education opportunities. They play an active role in achieving and maintaining high patient satisfaction by researching and resolving patient concerns and problems. Payroll duties may be assigned to assist the manager, along with monitoring and tracking educational requirements for employees. Leadership responsibilities include helping employees set goals, improving performance, delivering corrective actions, and contributing input regarding employee performance. There is also involvement in the recruitment process, including interviewing applicants, and the potential to lead special projects assigned by leadership.
