Job Requirements
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours including standing, walking, bending and squatting
- Ability to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, drink blender and cash register
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Post-secondary degree preferred
- 2+ years of lead or supervisory experience in food service
- Microsoft Office experience
- Math skills and ability to handle money accurately
- Strong knowledge of steps of service
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of coffee and coffee production
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverage preferred
Job Duties
- Maintain a steady leadership presence on the floor, interacting with guests, team members and vendors to ensure operations run smoothly
- Collaborate closely with the QSR Assistant General Manager on administrative and financial duties
- Train, motivate, mentor and organize team members
- Estimate food and beverage needs and requisition purchase supplies
- Receive and check orders to ensure adherence to specifications
- Monitor inventory and distribute supplies as needed
- Manage transactions and ensure accurate accounting
- Record shift notes and assist with scheduling administrative duties
- Ensure compliance with all quality, health, safety and sanitation standards
- Document, investigate and resolve employee and guest incidents
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
