Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of related experience
- Intermediate to advanced cooking skills
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- ServSafe certification within 90 days of employment
- Completion of Culinary Academy within 12 months
- Proficiency in using office equipment and computers
- Basic math skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work irregular and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to perform kitchen duties including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and using PPE
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
- Exposure to allergens such as peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, soy, dairy, seafood, shellfish, and gluten
Job Qualifications
- Intermediate to advanced cooking skills

- Proficient with standard office equipment and general computer skills
- Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and counting with whole numbers and fractions
- Ability to maintain discretion with confidential information
- Effective interpersonal and professional communication skills
- Ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts
Job Duties
- Oversee, plan, and assist in the creation of all food and menu items prepared in the venue
- Lead the culinary team to hold team members accountable for their performance and to ensure that all food served is monitored for taste and visual appeal
- Ensure established portion control measures are followed
- Control the level of waste through proper production levels and converted portion guidelines
- Communicate departmental objectives to ensure consistency and commitment to company policies and procedures
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment
- Assist in monthly inventory and rotation of stock
- Assist in menu development and presentation, including establishing recipes, determining costs, and publishing new menu specifications
- Assist in training, testing, and coaching other members of the culinary team
- Work at other venues as assigned, based on business needs
- Ensure full compliance with departmental internal controls, policies, procedures, and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
