The company emphasizes its core values which include teamwork, integrity, ownership, and striving for excellence, all while promoting a vibrant and positive workplace culture. Known nationally and internationally, Circle K continues to expand its footprint through excellent management and dedicated team members.
The Assistant Restaurant Manager position at the Circle K location at 7747 N Tryon St, Charlotte, North Carolina, is a part-time role that requires flexibility to work both days and evenings. This role supports the daily operations of the restaurant and serves as the key supervisory presence in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. The Restaurant Assistant Manager (RAM) plays a vital role in leading, coaching, and motivating team members to deliver outstanding guest service in a fast-paced environment. The RAM is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food quality, safety, and operational efficiency. This position requires someone who can handle administrative tasks such as cash management, inventory control, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
In this leadership role, the RAM is expected to conduct second interviews, assign shift duties, ensure adherence to company policies, and foster an environment where company values like "One Team," "Do the Right Thing," "Take Ownership," and "Play to Win" are practiced daily. The RAM must be adept at managing financial metrics to contribute to a profitable restaurant and ensuring all team members follow brand-specific guidelines regarding food preparation and customer interaction. The environment can be physically demanding with tasks involving bending, lifting, and working around hot and cold equipment, but Circle K commits to making reasonable accommodations for employees with disabilities.
This position is not only about management but also about embodying the spirit of teamwork and maintaining a fun, productive work experience. The role offers various benefits including unlimited tip pooling, medical and dental coverage, company holidays with premium pay, tuition reimbursement, a wellness plan, and opportunities for stock purchases. Candidates must be available for all hours of operation and possess excellent communication and leadership skills. Valid state driver's license and the ability to work under pressure and maintain a contagious positive attitude are essential. Circle K values diversity and inclusivity and complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act, offering reasonable accommodations as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to grow in restaurant operations and management while working with a supportive and dynamic team.
