The position of Quality Inspector, reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, is crucial in maintaining the high-quality standards expected by DwyerOmega and FCI. This role involves inspecting incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and detailed documentation of inspection results. The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections, completing operation sheets with stamping and dating for controlled production, and maintaining accurate lot traceability throughout inspections. The role requires interpretation of production schematics, specifications, and blueprints and conducting final inspections of complex assemblies including First Article Inspections (FAI).

Moreover, the position involves administering prescribed inspection procedures, performing visual inspections of bench-assembled components and subassemblies to ensure conformance to standards, verifying compliance with electrical and mechanical tolerances, and maintaining inspection gauges and tools in proper working order. The Quality Inspector may also provide training and guidance to other employees as required.

Safety is paramount at DwyerOmega, and the Quality Inspector must adhere strictly to safe work practices, participate in safety training, and promptly report any unsafe conditions or incidents. Quality responsibilities include supporting the company's Quality Policy, proactively taking action to prevent quality deficiencies, and identifying issues to ensure timely resolution within the quality system. Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are necessary, alongside the ability to maintain professional and collaborative internal and external relationships.

This is a full-time position offering an hourly pay range of $20.00 to $25.00.
