Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or relevant experience preferred
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently for physical tasks
- Flexible to work long hours as needed
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities
- Commitment to attend required meetings and trainings
- Maintain professional appearance and wear required uniform and PPE

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience highly preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with guests and employees
- Must be attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented
- Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
- Ability to attend all required hotel meetings and trainings
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- Maintain high personal appearance and grooming standards including wearing proper uniform and PPE
- Ability to understand and apply complex information to meet objectives
- Ability to cross-train in other hotel related areas
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to show initiative and anticipate guest or operational needs
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned lobby areas, business center, fitness center, restaurants, public restrooms, corridors, meeting rooms, offices, elevators, pool areas, parking garages, and driveways
- Perform special cleaning assignments and assist with room attendant and house attendant duties as necessary
- Handle lost and found items according to hotel standards
- Communicate effectively with employees using proper two-way radio etiquette
- Report maintenance issues to housekeeping supervisor or manager
- Deliver clean linen and pick up dirty linen or trash as needed
- Vacuum guest corridors and maintain neat and organized hallways, public areas, and closets
- Adhere to schedule for project cleaning of public areas and maintain stairwells to hotel standards
- Keep ash urns clean and filled with sand
- Collect and dispose of trash in outside dumpsters according to hotel procedures
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction by being attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous at all times
