Job Description
The hiring organization is a dynamic company specializing in the exhibit and trade show industry, focusing primarily on delivering high-quality, well-coordinated events and exhibits that meet clients' expectations and business goals. They are experts in managing complex projects that require close collaboration between various internal teams such as Client Management, Design, Event Services, and external production vendors. This company's strength lies in its ability to integrate diverse workflows and communication channels into a seamless process, ensuring that every project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Their work environment promotes teamwork, innovation, and a results-driven approach that supports professional growth and client satisfaction.
The role of Project Manager offered in this company is a critical position that acts as the communication nexus among account teams, on-site supervisors, and external production vendors. This role is responsible for managing the production phase of projects, ensuring that all deliverables are executed on schedule and meet or exceed client expectations. The Project Manager drives the project production launch process, leads key meetings, reviews schedules and forecasts, and aligns resources effectively to deploy project deliverables. The position demands strong organizational skills, technical knowledge—particularly in interpreting CAD drawings—and the ability to interact directly with clients and key prospects. This role also involves important responsibilities such as conducting quality control reviews, managing post-show client inspections and damage reporting, and collaborating with estimators and shop supervisors to establish material counts.
This employment opportunity is designed for candidates who possess at least five years of experience in the exhibit or trade show industries, specifically with significant operational management or project management experience. The employer prefers candidates who have an associate's degree or higher in a related field, strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the flexibility to work extended hours and travel as needed. The ideal Project Manager is detail-oriented, proactive, and resourceful, capable of managing projects with limited supervision while fostering collaboration across multiple departments. In this role, success means surpassing client expectations by ensuring project milestones are met efficiently and cost-effectively, ultimately contributing to the company's reputation as a leader in the exhibit and trade show production sector.
