Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year of bartending or related experience
- ability to maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- knowledge of Iowa alcohol laws and responsible service practices
- ability to follow health and safety codes
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous bartending experience preferred
- strong knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- knowledge of food and beverage service etiquette
- ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- understanding of responsible alcohol service and health regulations
Job Duties
- Represent the club at all times displaying a consistent positive attitude with members and staff
- adhere to a timeline and level of service ensuring effective and efficient service consistent with Wakonda Club standards
- conduct all service in a friendly, responsive, and professional manner using proper etiquette
- have an extensive understanding of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- possess working knowledge of current food menu items to answer member questions
- communicate effectively with all levels of management and work well within a team
- follow health codes in drink preparation, fruit cutting, and member service
- responsibly serve alcohol according to Iowa laws and Wakonda Club standards
- ensure area is stocked cleaned and ready for the next shift
- properly charge items and bill according to Wakonda Clubs accounting policies
- assist team members to ensure members and guests have the best experience possible
